I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from Florida International University (FIU). My research is interdisciplinary, bridging economics, engineering, and climate resilience to address critical global challenges.
I am a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the George Washington University (GWU). My ongoing research is part of a collaborative project between the National Institute of Standards (NIST) and GWU. My primary responsibilities in this position include:
Input-output tool for U.S. manufacturing industry supply chain.
Greenhouse gas assessment in the United States.
Research Focus
My research focuses on three key areas:
Disaster Risk Assessment: Analyzing how extreme weather events affect the economy, infrastructure, and communities.
Housing and Insurance Market Analysis: Examining the economic impact of extreme weather events on the housing and insurance sectors.
Climate Risk Mitigation and Resilience: Developing strategies to enhance climate resilience in U.S. coastal regions.
